Midland Power Plant. (105 MW Gas based Engine Power Plant)

• Socio-economic study identification of stakeholders, undertaking consultations, interviews;

• Assess what methodology to be adopted for identification, prediction, quantification and evaluation of potential environmental impacts of the proposed Project in relation to the guidelines of DOE Guidelines ;

• Assess what hazards associated with and how these will be addressed in the ESIA study;

• Review analysis of alternatives available for site, resources, technology, building materials etc.;

• Review project inbuilt mitigation measures available for potential adverse impacts;

• Assess the potential risks associated with the Project for formulation of Flood, Cyclone or surges Risk Assessment;

• Develop skeleton of the Environmental and Social Management Plan which will delineate the following:

• mitigation measures for potential adverse environmental impacts;

• management tools and techniques for the implementation of mitigation measures; and
